Se spala graul in mai multe ape, stafidele se inmoaie in putina apa cu rom, nucile se dau prin masina. Se pune graul la fiert cu apa cat sa-l acopere (daca mai este nevoie, se adauga ulterior), pana ce se inmoaie bine, fara sa scada toata apa. Se adauga nucile, mierea, stafidele scurse. Se amesteca si se trage vasul deoparte. Cand se raceste, se adauga praful de scortisoara si un praf vanilat.
